Maplewood is a large suburban community only a few miles from Downtown St. Paul. With a population of 38,000, Maplewood is accessed by Interstates 94 and 694, Minnesota Highways 5 and 36, and U.S. Highways 61. You can get anywhere fairly quickly from Maplewood. The Independent School District #662 provides excellent schools and employment opportunities to the residents of Maplewood. Other large employers include 3M and St. John’s Hospital. Metro bus stops are available throughout Maplewood that help the residents commute to the city’s and help preserve Minnesota’s natural resources.
Maplewood is home to the Maplewood Mall, a large, indoor mall with many conveniences.
