Hello, I'm Bill Hartman. For over 30 years, I have had the joy of helping people buy or sell their homes. I understand that this is one of the biggest decisions adults make in their lives, so I take the time to listen to my clients. My clients and their needs are my number one focus.
I attended the University of Minnesota studying Psychology before serving four years in the United States Air Force. I served in Viet Nam, served time in Guam with the typhoon hunters, and was a systems technician for the SR71 spy plane in California. Following my time in the military, I stayed in California and managed a bar and restaurant.
Minnesota's pull on her native son was too strong so I found my way back to Minnesota and started my real estate business in 1980. I married my wife, Kris, in 1989 and became a stepfather to her son, Matt. Matt married his wife Cara and we later we became grandparents to Kylee and Coleman. Kris passed away suddenly in January of 2010. The loss of my wife was quite a shock but I have been able to adjust to my new life through the support of family, friends and real estate community.
I joined Re/Max in 1992 and am a long-time member of the Re/Max Hall of Fame. Re/Max has offices all across the Twin Cities and my office is located on Lake Minnetonka.
I am active in the community as past president of the Lions Club and have supported Toys for Tots for over 20 years by sponsoring an annual visit with Santa event. I am also active in my church.
My hobbies include fishing, boating and spending time with my beautiful grandkids.
