SNOW IN MINNESOTA AND RATE HIKES: INEVITABLE!

For six years, the so called experts have been predicting a rate hike, by the Federal Reserve Board from the historic lows (hovering around 3.5%) we have enjoyed. But it never seems to come, kind of like the winter snow predictions this year. It just doesn’t seem to happen. Well, understand that all good things must come to an end, sometime. The problem is that people get used to things the way they are after a prolonged beneficial period (like no snow or like low interest rates) and they begin to believe that this is the way it is. I hate to tell you this, but it isn’t always like it seems and all things, weather and interest rates, eventually cycle through. This week, snow is predicted in Minnesota and so is a rate hike by the Federal Reserve Board. If you have not purchased a shovel yet, I suggest that you do soon. Also, if you are sitting on the fence about buying a home, thinking the rates will not increase, you may want to reconsider that decision. Both are inevitable.
