Professional Background

Growing up with a dad in real estate, I knew from an early age it was in my blood.  After college, I spent several years in the banking industry helping people navigate the mortgage lending process and then moved into the insurance industry where I sold insurance and investment products. While I enjoyed both of these professions, in 2002 I decided I could no longer resist my passion and I made the decision to follow my dad's footsteps and become a Realtor. 

While the hours are crazy and the business can be stressful, I love this career and would not trade it for anything.  I have the opportunity to meet great people and help them with some of the most important personal and financial decisions of their lives.  Every day is a new adventure and I would not have it any other way. 




Specialties

  • First-time home buyers--I  have taught Home Stretch Homebuying seminars through Carver Country CDA since 2004.  Educating new buyers about the market and helping them through the process is a passion of mine.  
  • Move up buyers--Helping first-timers move up into their second home as their lives change and families expand is also another specialty.  Move up buyers have different needs and expections that bring unique challenges to the homebuying process (exploring school districts, moving with kids, managing the process of buying and selling at the same time)
  • Relocation--Having lived in the Western Suburbs of Minneapolis all my life, I know these areas well.  I am especially familiar with the housing options and school districts of Chaska, Chanhassen, Victoria, Carver, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and Shakopee.  
  • Lake Homes--Being a native Minnesotan, I grew up as a lake girl.  My family current has a lake cabin about 45 minutes West of the Twin Cities.  I specialize in lake home sales in Carver, Hennepin and Wright counties.
